Long time since I wrote anything...

Hey all people, it's me again!
I know I havn't been writing so much and reason for that is due to alot of other stuff around.

As most of you know, Gabriels operation went PERFECT!
And we are sooooooo happy for that for sure.
Now he is back on track with all whats around it for sure.
He has 4 teeth and we dont know but lest say around 3-5 teeth more close to come.
Guess he has like popcorn effect in his mouth at the moment hehe .. poor little kid... has to hurt for sure..

What more... well we during the same time as the spending our days and nights in the hospital we as well manage to pack everything and we now as well have moved all things from the old appartment to the new one in Edificio Rosa (The Pink Building/House).
Oh yeah... it is ... it's PINK for sure.. yack.. :) But then again the apartment is nice.
Typical old "Madeirian" furniture, heavy/strong dark once.. except the damn beds.
Yepp .. we moved from one apartment that had the bed from hell and moved into another one with almost the same problem.
But I kind of fixed it.. it's more silent now then it was when we moved in.
Why do this types of beds have to be like this? Too old? Or does it just come with the package like IKEA's things we use to say.. always a screw or something missing eh?

Oh well it's almost fixed and my wife has done a outstanding job fixing the place up during the days at the same time dealing with Gabriel.
Most stuff now is on it's place, still some small things to deal with but it will be fixed as well for sure.

We as well now has both TV installed and got internet... Hurray!


What else, well I have been working most of the time now and been a lot of problem in the office but I hope now it's been sorted out.
Going to see if we can make a deal with the internet provider we have today to cut some costs since the internet connectin we have a 8Mbit link costs ALOT!
So we now going to have 2 meetings .. one with the old provider we had before then we changed to the one we have today due to the old one was too expencive.
Now let's see if there might be changes in their prices again.

So if there is .. we might change back to the old once again.. and I guess that will be a lot of work as well, I just hope our provider that we have today can come up with a good price so we will keep them.

Ope it all anyways will turn out to be good.

I as well have contacted the tech boss at the provider we have today to hope they might donate/support me with a link so I can put up a webserver to host a new thing I'm working on.
Dont know if he had the time to read it yet since I know he has been very busy last week.
But I hope that might turn into something nice... when it's all done I can tell you what it is..

Then what more has been happening.. well Gabriel turned 8 months today! HURRAY FOR HIM! How he did that was with a shit in his pants.. making mornign problems for my wife for sure.. poop in the bed and outside the diper and yeah .. seems like it was a big mess fore sure.. :)

Soon it will be time to put him in the day care center as well.. both me and my wife knows we need to do it but at the same time we dont want to :)
Feels so strange to leave him there.. but we need to do it soon so my wife can go back to work as well.

Oh well, I guess I can write forever since there is prolly alot that I have missed now as well.
But now I have to quit and get back to whatever I was doing :)

From the hospital part 2

Hey there again,

Been bad at writing but never been any direct time for it.
And far away from priority as well, but now Gabriel is sleeping after they removed the protection or what you can call it on his head.

I guess you as well followed up on Katjas blog as well and if so there is no point of me telling what happend..
Everything is OK and he is back to the same Gabriel as before, happy and always with a calming smile.

As Katja now spend 2 nights and days in row in the hospital she is now home sleeping a bit to as well take the last night. I must say that well that I always said.. she is the best wife/mom ever.
I have been stomach sick since Saturday night, after a fucking fast dinner at Mc FUCKING Donalds.. (Will never go there again for sure and I will never advice someone else to go there in the future hehe).
Well had a burger and went back for the night in the hosptial..
Ended up me be awake full night with maybe 30 min - 1h sleep rest spent with both gabriel and with the toilet.

I was scared now .. that maybe if there was not just something I ate .. maybe it was something that I can spread to Gabriel?? If that would happen I would never forgive myselft. Not 1 day after the operation and was thinking what could happen..
So Katja adviced that I will spend the nights home and ofcoz as I just wanted spend as much time with them as possible during the day.

Now it feels a bit better, havn't been eating anything directly since saturday.. well..
I had some small food as start and will try to eat a sandwish today as well.
Been drinking alot of water for sure..
But it seems to be better and better..

Now since we have to stay here 1 extra day that maybe we thought we decided that we will move gabriel and katja directly after he will leave the hospital .. and go directly o the new appartment.
So .. today 2 hours ago I went to sign the contract for the new appartment and got the keys.
It will be sooo good for us all to move.
Close to the International School of Madeira and as well close to work, no more taxi rides needed at all.. yey! That will save us some money at least.

Now Gabriel is sleeping.. he looks so cute .. with his bear over his face.. (he likes to sleep having something over his face.. looks strange but he likes it so why not?)

Well well now when Katja comes back I will go back to the "old" appartment and start to pack most of the last things.
Alot os packed already but still alot .. yeah .. ALOT of stuff still to pack.. (I HATE MOVING!!!!) hehe..
But most is cloths and well stuff in the fridge like food and so on.. that I will take for last.
Have tomorrow to after dropping Katja and Gabriel off in the new apartment.. I need to go and get a Micro .. strage first apartment that I seen without it.. but that is for sure something we need.

Now to something else regarding this hospial..
There is something both me and Katja well dont understand, and well hate most of it here.
As you all know, we have been in intencive care for 2 days and then back here to the normal child care 1 floor up.
Most people that works here is very nice and helpfull, BUT.... there is the evil nurses for SURE!

Just to set some examples? ok .. well if you think this examples is like why is he complaing? Well fuck you, then you dont have a child for sure ok? So just .. F*** off..
For you who understands what I mean now .. thank you.. I hope? :)

Nurses that as soon you dont absolutly understands their language .pt or english they just CUT YOU OFF! Like asking for FOOD for gabriel.. I today had to ask 3 times.. 2 times to the same.. that didnt do it.. the last one that did it..

Nurses here that should not be working with kids even if they work in the baby nursery? This is scary..
What this nurses does is just shitty, go into the room to check if everything is ok (ooh soo nice you say yeah?) well at 00.10 or whatever time it is when gabriel at least is sleeping or veeery close to sleeping the fucking nurs starts to snapps his fucking fingers and says OLÀ ...OOOOOLÀ (yes this is worth WITH CAPS!).
WHY THE HELL ... Is it allowed to punsh someone that is I guess allowed to fuck up a parents sleep/babys sleep like that? Leave him alone and let him ffs sleep ok kkthxbyebye!

Then we have the well donno lets say cleaning bitches from hell.. or are they nurses too?
Do they have kids and understands that when a baby sleeps its nice to have some silence around him/her?
Well no they dont understand that at all.. trust me .. not even in IVA/Intencive Care.
There is a place that I for sure thought had rules regarding sounds and so on..
Nooo lets just walk in .. in the late afternoon/night and start to clean trashbins.. and no dont take it out from the room, just start to make ALOT of noice with plastic bags and papers.. for at least 5-10 mins then you have done your job..

Then I think there is the most common portugues person, and I AM SO SORRY for the portugues people that will maybe read this.. but this is very common for peope here and maybe some other places but.. why do you have to talk so high?
The temper of the voice is like boosting to max when they talk.. fine to do that outside where it is alot of noice and stuff yeah sure.. nooo problem. but just outside a fucking door inside the hospital where a small baby just had his operation? at NIGHT? I thought they where angry and so on but noo .. ether they where drunk or just in a good mood..

Hope you alll understands what I write here.. it's just some small things you have to deal with.. well I dont feel like dealing with it.. they are working here and some of them for sure just do what they have in their contract .. if it doesnt say anything else .. then dont help out... and dont give advices...
Maybe we should all be like that .. ending up beeing cold, just care about our selfs and so on..
Anyways .. my frustrations about this is not alot .. maybe feels like that when you read this but..

There has been soo many good moments with ALOT of good people here helping out, cheking up gabriel.. asking if we want to take 1 hour off to eat or 5 min for smoke and so on.. and as well helping out explaning when the other nurse cant explain so good in english and the few words in Portugues didnt help us.. well I must say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the help we got in the hospital.

And as well want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the people out there that as well been so worried regarding the operation.

Now I guess I wont be writing anything else until we moved.. so bye bye and thank you all!

Blogging from the hospital part 1

Hey alla people,

As you might notice .. seems like this hospital has non-secure wireless internet connection.
And I just wanted to take the laptop with me to see some movies since there can only be one of us that can stay here.

So far so kind of good.
Came to "Externo Consultas" (think I almost spelled that rigt) at 09.00 .pt time.
Was suppose to be here at that time but hey, keep on waiting I say...
Anyways .. there we came .. enter the hospital talked with some nurse told her .. Bom dia, we are here to see Dr. Jill at 9 and would like to do that..
She started to check her papers, .. checked and checked .. no Gabriel in the papers...
Then they finaly understood that it was for the operation tomorrow.
Yey... now we just had to wait until around 10.30 then nurse came again and told us to follow..
Ok we didnt even see the doctor lol?!
Oh well at least something happens I was thinking for myself..

So here we are .. they took us to the child "department" and we have a room where I guess we have to share it with 1-2 people more.

So they took Gabriel put some tubes to take blood and so on .. and saw now that he is about 8855grm yey.. he is getting bigger and bigger.. soo he will end up at 10kg and I guess I have to find a way to lift him another way when he goes to sleep.

Now we are sitting here.. going down for a smoke from time to time but there is tho NOTHING to do at all here. A tv there is with just 3 chan. and they all sucks big time!

Now I just found out that we have internet .. so nice, at least we can have SOME communication with the blog, trying to get skype and so on..

Anyways, everything is so far so good, getting very hungry and as you know hospital food sucks.. most of the time anyways.. so going with carlos around 18.30 and get something fast to eat then back here and katja goes down to him to go home and stay there until tomorrow morning sob sob sob...
Myself will have the most strange night here in the hosptial.. gabriel has a nice baby bed and what does the father get? a chair! Oh yeah.. lol .. well it will be ok for sure.. cant say anything, at least I/we can be here with our son. And I'll do ANYTHING for him for sure so.. not complaining at all.

Tomorrow its time for the operation and still we dont know atm what time we will have it.
Will kepp you all more and more informed.

So.. today is the day...

Morning all people,

Just going to write this one in English so most of you people will understand anyways.
Well today is the day when we will once again go to the hospital.
This time it's the day before our sons operation.

For you now who dont know shit what the hell I'm talking about I will try to sum it later ok?

But I guess most of you know already so just wanted to thank you all for the big support we had/have during this long waiting and so on.

Anyways, now it's time for us to go out to Carlos that will pick us up and then head to the Hospital to see Dr. Jill (think he spells it like that hehe)..

Just wanted to let you know that we are in very good hands here and everything will just go super!

Will get back more and more information during this days..
Tonight I'll spend the full night in the hospital.

Nu är det inte långt tid kvar...

Så då var det inte så långt tid kvar tills Fredag.
Nervösiteten ökar och jag försöker tänka på annat vilket är mycket svårt.
Ikväll är sista kvällen/natten på ett par dagar då hela familjen är "hemma" sammtidigt.
Sen blir det ett par dagars sjukhus i pendlande format tillsammans med ett försök att packa ner inför flytten som ägen rum i slutet av nästa vecka.

Har igentligen inte så mycket att säga mer än att jag älskar er så himla mycket där hemma.
Ville igentligen stanna hemma idag och spendera hela dagen med er två men måste även jobba.

När denna resa nu är över o vi har kommit till ro igen så måste vi bara hitta på nått.
Vet inte alls vad men nått roligt/trevligt vore inte helt fel.

Kanske borde ta och åka till Porto Santo över en helg om vi har råd bara för att komma så långt bort från sjukhuset och Funchal som möjligt? I alla fall 1 dag..
Eller om vi kanske kommer på nått annat roligt, Porto Santo är väll igentligen inte en "rolig" ö att besöka direkt, finns inte alls så mycket att göra där men bara att komma här ifrån vore helt underbart tror jag.

Men vi får se hur det blir.. allt kommer ju att gå bra i alla fall så ... puss på er två där hemma!

Själv vet jag inte vad jag är riktigt .. båda och kanske?!
Well sur är jag inte men trött, seg och på tok för mycket virr i skallen.

Var ett tag sedan jag skrev nått vettigt och tror inte denna post kommer att bli nått liknande till vettigt överhuvud taget faktiskt.

Well ni som har läst min frus blogg/resedagbok antar jag även vet att vi kommer att äntligen operera Gabriel på Fredag.
Vi kommer att åka till sjukhuset redan på Torsdag morgon kl 9, då vi skall möta Dr. Jill som tydligen är en av öns bästa kirurger vilket låter helt otroligt bra.
Sen antar jag att eftersom han är bäbis så har jag hört att han kommer att ha förtur in till operation vilket låter riktigt bra. Fast kommer att låta detta vara osagt.
Been there done that så att säga ..
-"Kom hit kl 9 för att göra en TAC-Scan", och vad händer.. 2 timmar senare?

Ajja ni vet ju det sen tidigare så skall fan inte elta om det häller.
Och antar att det är precis lika på alla sjukhus i världen..

Bara hoppas på att dom fattar att det inte är en vuxen dom håller på med som kan vara utan mat/vatten osv i flera flera timmar..

Sen skall vi ju flytta också, på Torsdag nästa vecka skall vi hämta nycklarna.
Spännande och så SJUKT SKÖNT! Slippa alla jävla grannars hundar som skäller 24/7, trafik som är värren än tyskarnas autoban.

Vet inte alls hur grannarna är i nya stället men när vi var där o kolla på lägenheten på kvällen så var det märkligt nog, tyst, lugnt och såå stillsamt skönt.

Får hoppas det håller sig så.

Är lustigt, har tappat arbetslusten HELT!
Så nu tar jag en paus i arbetet för att skriva av mig lite så kanske det släpper.

Måste fan få hitta på nått annat snart, jobbet jag har är helt underbart på alla sätt och vis men sammtidigt, jävligt tråkigt vid många tillfällen.
Nog för att jag alltid har nått att göra även som jag tror, folk där ute.. dom tror att man sitter här o latar sig större delen av dagen vilket faktiskt är rent åt helvete fel.
Tror inte folk tänker på att faktiskt så ofta när det händer nått vilket det gör rätt ofta hinner någon konstig person fixa det 2-3 minuter innan någon äns kommit på tanken att fan var det inte nått som strulade just?

Det är i alla fall det mål jag försökt sätta, att försöka hinna fixa allt små skit som strular innan någon annan kommer på det.

sen kommer det större problem, med telefoni och internet men där är det lite svårare att få det fixat tok snabbt. Men brukar ta 10minuter till en hel jävla dag att lösa sånt.

Men det är ju en jävla tomte som springer omkring i kablarna o fixar sånna saker.
Själv sitter jag bara o skriver bloggar hela dagarna och pillar mig i navel.
Japps så är det... NOT.

Men som kanske nån vet som läser detta är jag en rätt projekt inriktad person som kanske vill hålla på o testa lite för mycket saker sammtidigt.
Dock så stämmer det, jag gillar att jobba, hitta på nya lösningar, försöka göra mer automatiserade tjänster så att man kan sparka folk som inte behövs... Been there done that också eller hur TITTUT? (bara ett få tal som kommer att fatta det där)...

Har en t-shirt som det står .. Leave me alone or I will replace you with a simple bash script. Det är precis det jag gjorde på mitt gammla jobb och vipps så behövde vi inte ha en tjat lisa som bara var mer iriterande än nyttig.
