Som funny shit for the weekend

Well can just explain that woke up at 4 this morning and kind of spent my very early morning in the toilet.
Just hate to have stomach problems, don't know if it was something I ate or whatever it was. But it was just shit (sort of speak lol).

But at around 10 I started to feel a bit better and while sitting at home working a bit with emails from verizon and other things I decided to walk down to work after I took Gabriel to nursery.


Anyways .. a lot of this this week for sure, just hope I'll find a way or at least Verizon might do to solve this shitty calls we have.

Anyways, all people have a nice weekend now.
I will for sure try to have it!

One thing I hate most is that when there is some problems that I cant fix.
Since it is out of my league/some one else that needs to fix it.

Today is the day for a damn cold, fever and a nose I want to trade away for whatever I can get, hate my nose atm.

Well what about today,
We managed very smoothly to split the 8Mbit link we have to 6 / 2.
6 for data, 2 for the IP/Voice that I will start to stress-test tomorrow.
I as well tomorrow will have a meeting that I hope will end up as I want, whatever that is?!

Stressfull month this has been and June wont be calm for sure.

But now I made some more work, and will go to beed to get some hours of sleep and back up again ready for whatever will hit me in the office tomorrow :)

Just wanted to share some funny shit this Saturday night:

Oh yeah, it is.
Saturday night and so nice.
Been a good day, with a walk downtown for some "lunch".

Yesterday my wife bough some nice fresh shrimps (1 kilo) :)
And today we ate them, so good and tasty.

And now she is looking on the final of Eurovision song contest.
I can just say that I don't like that contest at all.
Well used to be maybe good don't remember so much but since I hear all the songs behind my back it's hard to miss what at least sounds bad or good.
So far I can just say that maybe been 2 songs that at least sounds like a "schlaaager!" :)
The rest is either just terrible singers or very retarded people that just are happy to be on a stage but looks totally lost while they are trying to make some sort of noise.
Well don't know what to say so I leave it like that since I should not care so much I guess but lol, so hard to not to think something when you hear it and then turn around and see either a damn doll screaming to some "dance music" or whatever or you have some strange Spanish dude having a kid guitar and well I rest my case.

I didn't say that "Digeeloooo Diggeleeeej" was spec. good either. haha ..

Oh well, next week a lot of things that I had in my mind might be solved.
Either it will be good or good.

New design again

Yepp, my wife found some nice site for templates for different blogs.
Problem now is that my top picture is not working out and to this I lost all my links and so on.

Well I still have the "old" xml file here so will see if there is some nice way for me to "add" them again.

Right now I just would LOVE to get some sleep.
My son was awake and I was thinking, well I don't feel so tired.
Took him up, it was fucking dark outside.
SHIT, it was 3.40 in the morning.

No no this is not going to work.
Make some more food and took him to bed again.
We went to sleep and woke up around 7.20 ( I think )

Home with my sick son

So had to go home today so the PRO can get to work and show them all :)
Haha.. well I went to work this morning and around 10.30 my boss asked me if it was ok for me to go home.
Didn't understand at all what the hell that was about, but seems like my son got sick so my wife was suppose to stay home with him.
But since the office needed her more then me, I'm all ok with that for sure! :D



Now Gabriel is a sleep, and I'm eating a chicken burger from Burger King!!! YUMM!

Hey there,

Just noticed that last post was the 100-post I made on this blog.
Yey and hurray for me or something.
Well hurray for Mr. J that has a birthday today. (gz again..)

My son is now sleeping and my wife is doing great in the office from start this morning.
Seems like she has just taken the "lead" in the stats today, well I'm not surprised.
She loves to work, and damn good at it! *Puss, kokosnöt*

Well I will just take a coffee now, without a damn smoke.
Grrr, well I said I will quit and so shall it be.

Having that coffee and reading some news, waiting until my son wakes up.
Then we will play some, and have a bath since he did not have that yesterday due to that he was vary tired.
But a nice warm bath after some playtime, then its lunch! And after that .. who knows.
I think we will go out for a short time just to get some air.
If I got the pay today we might have gone to the bank to take some money out for the rent and daycare and maybe had a coffee on the way.
Now I think we just will walk around, broke as we are *lol*

Oh well might write something else later.

1 day of rest

Almost anyways.
Tomorrow my wife will work and I will stay home with my son.
Since it's a holiday here tomorrow the daycare is closed and my son needs to be home, with me :)

First time I will be home with him for a full day! Going to be fun!

My wife is already a sleep, she was tired like mad and I do understand her for sure.

So what about today.
Well I had to get to work kind of too early due to I had the damn door key since the stupid guard was not in his place when we left the office this Saturday.
Then I came to the office and put on some coffee, I notice shit I can't do the mornings as I used to. :(

So small change, taking a coffee without the smoke.
Scary, but it works.

We still have phone problems in the office.
Well VERIZON the bastards have the problem to transfer calls from Sweden to Portugal.
So today we still had the echo and "we can only hear ourself not the customers" problem.
With my starting mood, I just felt like tell this ******* bastards to ******* off and route the damn calls to the best link they have.
I know they have some good link around for sure! We had this "common" problem for a long time now and kind of got some bad rude damn emails from them telling me that if we are not happy with this we can find another operator and leave XZB.
Well I would LOVE to, but don't want that mess in my face now, too much other things going on.

Just hope I will hear some of the news I have been waiting for.
The time goes too fast now and I think it is for sure time to think. (sound funny, I think lol)

Oh well, I think tomorrow will be a better day, then the day after is like a "friday" since I will be home with my son on Thursday (due to PH).

Hmmm he is not sleeping so good now, going to make some more "milk" for him and then go to sleep myself.

THE Monday from HELL

Oh yeah!
It is "The Monday from HELL".
Well it's not even over yet but, so far this day has just be fucked up from start until now.

So I just had to go behind the damn firewall to write this shit to put my "mind" somewhere else then inside my fucked up brain.
Why you ask? Well can just say that feels like I getting a fucking coold in the middle of almost fucking summer and just in the fucking start of the fucking time where we are fucking quitting smoking.

Not just that fucking shit, this night I thgought I was going to die.
Was the most fucked up thing, I woke up and could not breathe.
I don't know why, but I guess my nose is/was a but fucked up due to the damn fucking cold I'm getting or maybe I was dreaming about that I was going to die or something.
Don't know at all, at least I didn't die even it feels like it could been a good idea (nooo I dont want to die) just want to feel better.

I hope my wife don't feel the same as I do.
She for sure looks a bit stronger then I feel at the moment.

Yepp, that is the start of a "new life".
My wife will from start today (Sunday) quit smoking, and I will tag along :)

And I know it will just work out fine, for sure.

A nice weekend

Evening people,

Don't have that much to write today really.
Just had a really nice day today with my kid and wife.
We just went downtown, had a coffee on the way down and ended up walking down the marina:


Weather was so nice, around +20.5C and a small wind from time to time.
Just perfect, kind of hate it when its around 28 ->

So tomorrow its Friday.
This week has gone so fast, but have been very busy.
The "voip" gateway is done and now I'm just waiting for the phones to arrive to make the real tests.

I made some iptraf checking on the gateway when I put just one sip adapter behind it without any other traffic.
Made a call out and results after 1 min (open call) it generated ~5200 packages and used about 140-155KBit/sec.
Same the other way around from an outgoing call to the phone it self.

150Kbps if I'm not wrong is a lot for just one voip call?

So what happens if we put 60 phones? Can only say -"For me to find out?!", right?

Well one thing is, the adapter I'm using don't have from what I have checked any setting to change the compression or as well to see/change the codec.
And I bet the phones that will arrive will have at least something like that to change and test with.

With some Google search of what/how skype works that still has ok quality:

Skype uses GIPS codecs. iLBC was created by Global IP Sound (GIPS). Skype is wideband capable. Therefore Skype uses wideband iLBC.

iLBC uses:

Bitrate 13.33 kbps (399 bits, packetized in 50 bytes) for the frame size of 30 ms and 15.2 kbps (303 bits, packetized in 38 bytes) for the frame size of 20 ms.

That is far away from what I have seen.
So yes, for me to find out, next week I hope.

Will 4Mbit link be enough? Will we need to have a redundant PSTN due to unbalanced traffic? If it's not working out, what will be the options?

Ah, yes today I got a strange email.
Seems like a friends friend (LOL) have talked about me about what I don't know but he wanted to talk with me about something next week, so will see what that is about.
I don't even know the guy but he told me something in the email that can be something very interesting, depending on one thing.

Else this week has been very busy, a lot of things to check up for the coming PBX.
I just hope the link from Madeira to mainland can handle this.

Yet another weekend is over...

.. and a new week starts.
Looking forward for this week, even if maybe it doesn't have anything yet to give me.
But still I guess there might be.

I ended last week at work with a nice clean reinstalled Windows 2003 server.
This one was the one that got all fucked up in the office some weeks ago and made a terrible mess.
Learning by doing I say.

Well now that server is back online and work now as a DC slave as the other one was before but with some Google and useful books I could easy turn it to master and delegate the control back :)

So this week will be put some effort to do something nice with it.
And empty box is not working :)

and who knows else what will turn up this week? I just hope I get some answers soon.
